Blenz wanted to introduce three flavours to the overall chain: ube, rich mango, and calamansi. In collaboration with a local supplier, the team concocted highly potent concentrates much to the team's delight. The team at Blenz wanted to reach a wide audience while being the first North American coffee chain to introduce these flavours.
solution
The goal on the creative side was to develop content that is fun, rich in colour, and most importantly, true to their taste. It was decision to steer away from the generic sun-and-stars motif and graphics to represent the Philippines—we wanted to develop content that stayed true to the flavour palate without alienating the broader Canadian market that may not be familiar with ube or calamansi.

The Ube Matcha Freddo, Coco-Ube Freddo, and Calamango Chillo, respectively. The graphic elements were to reflect the flavours of origin and the magical feeling you get when you take the first sip.
The Ube Matcha Freddo, in particular, was proven to be so popular among baristas and guests that it became a staple in the Matcha product line-up.
An accompanying animated video was created for social media advertisement.
